Lauren Blatz, CFP®, CPCC

Director of Family Education

Lauren Blatz joined GenSpring in 2011 and is the director of family education. In this role, Lauren is responsible for developing and delivering effective learning through a variety of education programs. These educational opportunities are focused on preparing next generation family members for various roles and transitions that occur over a lifetime. She works one-on-one with family members and also participates in multi-generational family meetings on a broad array of topics such as financial education, family communication and career development.

Prior to joining GenSpring, Lauren worked in the investment banking industry as a human resources generalist at Barclays Capital in New York City.

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. She is also a certified administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as well as the Murphy-Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children (MMTIC).

Lauren is on the Board of Volare, a non-profit organization working with schools and teens to empower emerging leaders.
