Jan R. Vega, CTFA, CFP®
Jan is an education specialist based in the Los Angeles office. In this role, Jan works with client families to determine their shared family objectives and the personal goals of each member of the family. From there she crafts education plans to help them reach their multi-generational goals
In addition, she serves clients as a family wealth advisor where she where she assists client families with a wide variety of wealth management needs, including estate planning, tax planning and compliance, risk management, accounting, and financial planning. She works closely with each family’s GenSpring family investment officer and their outside professional advisors to verify that all aspects of their wealth management plan are closely coordinated.
Prior to joining, Jan served as a relationship manager at Wilmington Trust. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Accounting and earned a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Southern California with a concentration in finance. Jan is a CFP® Professional and has also earned her Personal Financial Planning (PFP) and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designations.
Jan currently is an active alumnus of Loyola Marymount University and serves as a member of the LMU Business School Advisory Council and member of the Planned Giving Advisory Council. Jan is also a former mentor for the USC Marshall School of Business Career Advantage (CAP) Program and a volunteer for Junior Achievement.
